Simple and perfect. Apples, honey, lemon, and a hint of cinnamon. This is a great, healthy way to satisfy a sweet tooth! Like apple pie without the crust.

Ingredients
- 5 green apples
- 3 red apples
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 c honey (or agave nectar)
- 3 1/2 c water
Instructions
- Wash and chop apples.
- Place apples in a large saucepan with remaining ingredients.
- Heat over medium-high until bubbling, then reduce heat to medium low and continue simmering uncovered for about 90 minutes (longer if you want it softer, less if you want a chunkier applesauce).
