bison burger

We love a bison burger and this classic peppery version is hard to beat. Simply mix ground bison with cc special + putz pepper for an amazingly flavorful and juicy burger (even well done, how we usually like it). Serve however you like: on a bun, over greens, or simply alone on a plate - it's good enough for that.

These burgers freeze and reheat well. We like to cook them, then immediately freeze on a cookie sheet topped with parchment paper. Then, we toss them in a freezer container for future extra easy meals!

Honorable mention for thisΒ Merzbacher's sweet potato roll we flew home with from Philadelphia. Chef's kiss!
