Nachos... not a health food, but maybe a mental health food? faco belle brings the anchor flavor to your protein, around which you can build your ideal nachos. Beans, cheese, avocado, jalapeno, tomato, sour cream, salsa, green onions, picked onion, bell peppers, zucchini, you can't go wrong.

We also love nachos because they are a great way to use things up!

Ingredients

  • ground meat or plant-based protein substitute
  • faco belle seasoning (1.5 TBSP per pound meat)
  • butter or cooking oil
  • chips
  • nacho toppings of your choice! brainstorm: beans, cheese, avocado, jalapeno, tomato, sour cream, salsa, green onions, picked onion, bell peppers, zucchini, hot sauce, cilantro, guacamole, olives

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high.
  2. Add butter or cooking oil, then add meat.
  3. Sprinkle with faco belle seasoning (1.5 TBSP per 1 pound meat). Continue cooking until fully browned.
  4. Assemble your nachos! If adding cheese or beans, I like to do those ingredients first and broil the nachos, so they get all melty. Then I add all the cold ingredients on top.
