This italian sausage-spiced pasta salad is clutch on a hot summer day. Simply use our italian sausage blend to season your favorite ground meat, then add your veggies and whatever other tasty additions your heart desires.

Ingredients

  • ground meat
  • italian sausage blend (1.5 TBSP per pound meat)
  • vegetables of choice (tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, etc...)
  • flavor boosters (olives, cheese, nuts or seeds, capers, pickled peppers, etc...)
  • pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package, then rinse under cold water and allow to cool.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add butter or cooking oil. Add ground meat, then sprinkle with italian sausage blend (1.5 TBSP per 1 lb meat).
  3. Cook until meat is browned. Remove from heat.
  4. Chop veggies and other pasta salad ingredients.
  5. Assemble your salad and enjoy! Can also prepare ahead and refrigerate for a quick lunch or snack.
